I-CLAIM research was presented at the final conference of the MIMAP project, hosted by the Research Centre of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). The conference, titled “Irregularly Staying Migrants: Empirical Findings and Methodological Advances,” offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and present emerging research.

During the event, our colleague Beatrice Bianca Salamena (Katholische Hochschule Mainz) presented the first results on labour exploitation of migrants within the platform economy. The conference also sparked important reflections on how better communication and stronger knowledge bridges can be built between social and migration research and migration policy.
