Drawing on the recently published I-CLAIM reports on the experiences of food delivery riders with precarious immigration status in the UK, Nando Sigona and Stefano Piemontese write for OpenDemocracy on a troubling alignment between the UK’s hostile environment and the infrastructure of gig capitalism. It is produced, monetised, sustained, and now it’s getting worse.
